Although some health professionals promote the health benefits of tofu, it is not one of my favorites. In fact, I avoid tofu as much as possible. Tofu is soy and is made from edamame beans which are soybeans.
Soy is known for its potential disruption of our endocrine system. Soy increases estrogen levels in our body. This can be problematic for many people. Also, soy is one of the most genetically modified foods on the planet.
So, although there may be times when I consume soy, perhaps when eating at a restaurant, I do my best to avoid it.
PUMFU is made from pumpkin seeds which are rich in minerals and other nutrients.
